There is also a more potent 180-horsepower turbocharged 1.5-liter 4-cylinder, which is available on higher trims. It is worth mentioning that the optional engine is available on higher trims such as the EX, EX-L, Touring, and Sport Touring models. The most potent engine is under the hood of Type R. This turbocharged 2.0-liter 4-cylinder engine is able to make 305 horsepower using a continuously variable automatic transmission (CVT). A 6-speed manual transmission is available as well but only with the Sport and Sport Touring trims
2024 Honda Civic Price, Release Date
We believe the base price for a standard Civic LX sedan will slightly go up from the current $22,000 to $23,000. Moving up to the highest-trim EX and Touring models, buyers must prepare for close to $30,000. In the same price range is the Civic Si sedan.
This performance model, the Civic Type R, is the most popular, with a base price of around $40,000. All the models above will reportedly go on sale in the second half of next year.
