It seems that the next generation of the Honda Accord class-leading sedan will arrive next year. According to many reports, the 2024 Honda Accord will go through a redesign. In case you didn’t know, the current, 10th-gen Accord came out in late 2018, and it receives a light refresh in 2021.
However, the forthcoming 2024YM is expected to retain the same exterior design as the current sedan but with some refresh. The Honda Accord looks attractive and very muscular thanks to its sharp body lines and Sportback rear end. This model is also recognized by its large grille with horizontal bars.
2024 Honda Accord Facelift
Unlike the current, 10th-gen Accord, the new one will get more modifications on the front end. First of all, the upcoming 2024 Honda Accord should retain the same exterior design, but it will be more muscular, yet elegant.
It features sharp body lines and a Sportback rear end. Also, it will come with a new refreshed grille with horizontal bars and C-shaped taillights. As you may notice, the current Accord wears similar design as the new Honda Civic.
Cabin Rumors
The 2024 Honda Accord will probably receive some refreshed inside as well. As far as we know, buyers of this model can expect more quality materials and some advanced technologies. A redesigned Accord is expected to feature a larger touchscreen, Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, two USB ports, four audio speakers, and Bluetooth as standard equipment.
Also, as a standard it offers navigation, a Wi-Fi hot spot, wireless smartphone compatibility, a wireless charging pad, and 10 audio speakers. The current Accord includes Honda Sensing suite of advanced safety features, and expect the same with the new one. This means standard equipment which should include forward-collision warning, adaptive cruise control, automatic emergency braking, lane-keeping assist, lane departure warning, automatic high-beam assist, and a driver drowsiness monitor.
2024 Honda Accord Engine Options
We don’t expect Honda to make any major changes to 2024 model year. Under the hood, the 2024 Honda Accord will be available with three engine options. The standard engine is a turbocharged 1.5-liter four-cylinder that produces 192 horsepower and 192 pound-feet of torque.
A more powerful is a turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder developing 252 hp and 273 lb-ft of torque. The most efficient is the Accord Hybrid model that comes with a 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine and an electric motor for a combined output of 212 hp. The hybrid also provides a combined rating of up to 47 mpg, while the base four-cylinder is around 33 mpg combined.
2024 Honda Accord Release Date, Price
The new 2024 Honda Accord Honda will reportedly go on sale sometime next year. When this model arrives, it will have the same range as the current model. The current generation costs between $26,485 and $38,415 depending on trim levels. However, if you want a fully loaded model, the price will go up closer to the $40,000 mark.
