Unfortunately, unlike many rivals, the Black Edition doesn’t add any exclusive powertrain to the Honda lineup. So, this model uses the same standard V6 engine that makes 280 horsepower. This engine, so far, has been paired with a smooth-shifting nine-speed automatic transmission and AWD. In general, we don’t expect any changes at all with the 2024-year model.
The fuel economy is around 19/26 mpg city/highway, which isn’t too shabby for this type of vehicle. Anyway, for 2024, the manufacturer may do some remapping, which should result in a better economy.
