The 2024 Honda Ridgeline Hybrid has been rumored, and we can reportedly expect the new truck to appear sometime in 2023. Like many crossover SUVs, the new Ridgeline is built on a unibody platform, while its rivals still use a more traditional body-on-frame platform.
In general, both platforms have their advantages and disadvantages, but we’re expecting the new unibody platform to be more rigid than before. Besides the traditional 3.5-liter V-6 engine, there is a rumor that Honda might also introduce the same engine coupled with the hybrid system. 2024 Honda Ridgeline Hybrid Design
On the appearance side, the 2024 Honda Ridgeline Hybrid will not significantly differ from the base gasoline-powered version. However, the Ridgeline Hybrid will wear a slightly larger grille, while everything else remains almost the same. Moreover, as before, this truck comes with sharp lines, modern LED headlights, and unique exterior paints.
The base version rolls on 17-inch rollers, while the 18 and 19-inch alloy wheels are available as an option or standard on upper trims including the Hybrid one. We’re also expecting some small changes and upgrades on the back including improved taillights. The design of Ridgeline will change a bit if you go for the top Black Edition. This model adds some black accents including black 18-inch alloy wheels.
Cabin Upgrades
As exterior, the interior of the 2024 Honda Ridgeline Hybrid will gain minor updates. Considering that there are no available images, we’re expecting the interior to be based on the latest Pilot SUV. This means that the next Ridgeline will be spacious with comfortable seats for up to five people.
An 8-inch touchscreen will be probably replaced with a larger one, and expect newer driver-assistance aids. Tri-zone automatic climate control should be standard, just as the keyless ignition, Apple CarPlay/Android Auto, and a 7-speaker sound system.
2024 Honda Ridgeline Hybrid Specs
The current Honda Ridgeline pickup truck uses a potent 3.5-liter V-6 engine that produces 280 horsepower and 262 pound-feet of torque. Nevertheless, according to many rumors, along with this engine, the manufacturer could also introduce a new hybrid one. The hybrid model will probably use the same 3.5-liter V-6 engine coupled with an electric motor and large battery.
So, the Ridgeline Hybrid could deliver around 300 hp and 300 lb-ft of torque. All models will come standard with a new nine-speed automatic gearbox and with front-wheel drive. However, all-wheel drive is standard with top-tier RTL-E and hybrid trims. More importantly, the hybrid system will deliver better fuel economy. The gasoline-powered Ridgeline currently provides 18 mpg in the city and 24 mpg on the highway, while the hybrid version could deliver around 25 miles per gallon combined.

The exact price of the new 2024 Honda Ridgeline Hybrid is not available yet. However, from some rumors, it should probably cost between $40,000 and $50,000.
The sales of the new unibody truck are expected to start next fall, so we presume more official details in the next month or two.
