2024 Honda Pilot Spy Shots, Redesign, Engine Specs, Release Date, and Price

The 2024 Honda Pilot is spied testing for the first time, and it looks way better than before. According to many reports, the forthcoming SUV could come longer by 3 inches compared to the outgoing one. The upcoming SUV, which represents the fourth generation, is expected to reach dealerships in late 2023 as a 2024 model.

Judging from first spy shots, the redesigned Pilot will feature a more rugged design, and we can expect some influences from the recently updated Ridgeline pickup truck. However, the power of this model should remain the same, and we can expect once again a potent 3.5-liter V-6 that produces 290 hp and 267 lb-ft of torque. As you probably know, the same setup is used on the redesigned MDX. Besides, a plug-in hybrid option is expected as well.

2024 Honda Pilot Facelift

The redesigned 2024 Honda Pilot will look more attractive than before. Of course, the recognized rugged design is still present just like the soft lines that are making it look more like a minivan than an SUV.

As far as we know, the new model will use the same platform as the recently introduced Acura MDX. The platform is rigid and has many benefits compared to the older one. We can also expect some design cues to be taken from the Ridgeline pickup truck.

Interior Changes

Considering that the new 2024 Honda Pilot is using the same platform as the Acura MDX, it should deliver a very comfortable interior. You can find 38.4 inches of rear legroom in the second row, which is more than adequate. However, the third row is best for kids offering 31.9 inches of legroom. Cargo space can be spans from 16.5 cubic feet to a maximum of 109.2 cubic feet with folded rows.

As you can see, the Pilot is a spacious and comfortable SUV. As standard equipment, the Pilot comes with Apple CarPlay/Android Auto, satellite radio, 8-inch infotainment screen, 3-zone automatic climate control, and full Honda Sensing array of driver assistance features.

2024 Honda Pilot Engine Specs

As we already said, the power of the 2024 Honda Pilot should once again come from a 3.5-liter V-6 engine. The current model that is powered by the same mill produces 290 hp and 267 lb-ft of torque. It is also hooked to a 10-speed automatic transmission, and it sends power to the front wheels as standard.

However, you can count on all-wheel drive as an optional feature. A plug-in hybrid option is expected as well, but at this point there are no exact specs.

2024 Honda Pilot Price, Release Date

The refreshed 2024 Honda Pilot is coming, and that claim is confirmed by recent spy shots. Although, the Pilot model is nowhere near as popular as its smaller sibling, the CR-V, but is still a very important member of the Honda lineup. According to Honda, they managed to sell around 123,813 Pilots in the United States last year.

We can expect it to debut in 2023 as a 2024 model. The price of the forthcoming model is not yet available, but we presume that it will be in the coming months.
