Interestingly, like before, this SUV will influence some cues from the recently updated Ridgeline pickup truck.
According to news, the forthcoming model will ride on the new platform, and it will be much bigger. Proportionally, it will be similar to the Acura MDX. The highlight of this SUV is definitively a new hybrid and plug-in system. We expect this model to reach dealerships in late 2022 as a 2023 model.

In terms of styling, we expect the hybrid model to bring a more recognized grille, hood, and hybrid badge to separate from the rest. From many reports, the forthcoming 2023 Honda Pilot will introduce some of the new engines. The current variant is powered by a 3.5-liter V-6, rated at 290 hp and 267 lb-ft of torque. This unit is hooked to a 10-speed automatic. If you didn’t know, the same setup is under the new Acura MDX model.
However, from the information we got, the manufacturer will keep the same engine, but it will add a new electric motor and battery pack.
