2023 Honda N7X Confirmed to Replace BR-V Model Next Year

The all-new 2023 Honda N7X will arrive next year, and it should replace the famous BR-V model. According to the latest news, Honda’s new 7-seater reveal has been postponed to November due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. However, we have images of the concept model that was introduced in May, and we must admit, the new N7X looks much better than the model it replaced.

While Honda hasn’t revealed much information, the upcoming model is Honda’s answer to the popular three-row midsize SUVs like the Toyota Avanza and Daihatsu Xenia. This SUV uses the same powertrain as the Honda City model. The engine consists of a 1.5-litre petrol engine that produces around 121hp and 145Nm respectively.

2023 Honda N7X Design

The new N7X features a familiar Honda design language that we saw on many other models. in terms of styling, it looks beautiful, and it will for certain use many design cues from the CR-V.

At first glance, it seems proportionally the same, but with more attractive lines. It features an attractive chromed grille and the same headlights we saw on the CR-V model. However, it looks different on the back, and we like its shaped LED taillights with eye-catching graphics.

Interior Equipment and Trims

The 2023 Honda N7X is a seven-seater SUV that comes with three rows of seats. This model looks very modern and spacious inside, and it should be available in few trim levels. There are precisely four trims S, E, Prestige, and Prestige HS.

The most basic S trim will include a great package of technology and materials. It should also offer a standard large infotainment system, navigation, and excellent audio system. However, you can count on more equipment on upper trims. Prestige HS stands out from the rest of the trims thanks to many amenities. This model also comes standard with a Honda Sensing, and it should brings many Advanced Driver Assistance.

2023 Honda N7X Powertrain Specs

As mentioned, the all-new 2023 Honda N7X will replace the BR-V model and should gain an entirely new powertrain. From available information, the new model will probably use the same engine as the Honda City model. The engine is 1.5-liter petrol that develops around 121 horses and 145Nm respectively.

We also got information that it could be offered with either the gearbox choices of a 5-speed manual and a CVT automatic. Also, it comes exclusively with a front wheel vehicle, without an option of AWD. Moreover, considering that this model uses the same platform as Honda City, it seems unlikely to get a hybrid powertrain.

Honda will discontinue the not-so-selling BR-V model and replace it with the all-new 2023 Honda N7X sometime next year. As far as we know, the manufacturer will fully reveal this SUV in November as a 2023 model. Honda hasn’t revealed many details yet, including its price, but from many speculations, the forthcoming SUV should not exceed the price of $30,000.

Interestingly, it seems that this model will only be made for the Indonesian market for now. On the same continent, the Honda N7X will try to compete with rivals like the Toyota Avanza and  Daihatsu Xenia, both sold in Indonesia.
