From what we heard, it will get a more attractive front fascia featuring slimmer LED headlights and a more stylish grille. Of course, more changes are expected on the side and the back. The current model offers some premium touches, though, like LED headlights, taillights, and attractive 16-inch aluminum-alloy wheels.
Cabin Refreshments
A quiet cabin is the main weapon of the new 2023 Honda Insight. Considering that Insight is based on the Civic platform, there is plenty of room inside. Cargo-carrying flexibility is impressive, measuring 15.1 cubic feet. Placing the battery beneath the rear seats, the manufacturer keeps the car’s center of gravity low.
As we mentioned, the cabin is quiet thanks to active noise cancellation and extra sound deadening. The entry-level Insight LX offers a great package for the money. This model features adaptive cruise control, automatic emergency braking, lane-keeping assistance, and automatic high beams. Jumping to LX, buyers will get dual-zone automatic climate control, LED ambient console lighting, a great infotainment display, Apple CarPlay/Android Auto, and much more. If you want leather, heated seats, and onboard Wi-Fi, then the Honda Insight Touring is a great choice.
2023 Honda Insight Powertrain
The new 2023 Honda Insight should provide an impressive performance thanks to a 1.5-liter 4-cylinder engine that uses an Atkinson cycle. Honda always prioritizes efficiency over power and is common in other hybrid vehicles. The hybrid system also comes with an electric motor that draws power from a lithium-ion battery.
The whole system makes 151 horsepower through front wheels and continuously variable transmission (CVT). The new Insight also offers EV mode, that under certain conditions, the car can travel up to one mile on battery alone, which very useful.
Release Date, Price
The forthcoming 2023 Honda Insight is a sedan that is very efficient thanks to its hybrid system. Also, unlike many of the available models in the class, it features a very comfortable cabin and a great package of standard equipment. Reportedly, we can expect the redesigned model to debut sometime next year as 2023 YM.
Pricing is not yet revealed, but we should expect slightly higher figures, considering the number of upgrades. The current model starts at $22,930, and it can go up to 30,000 for the Touring variant.
