The new Acura Integra will debut next year, and we do expect an electrified version to arrive at the same time. After a long absence of twenty years, a historic nameplate Integra will return more attractive and stylish. As far as we know, the 2023 Acura Integra Hybrid will not differ at all from the recently revealed prototype.
Based on some rumors, the new Integra will ride on the same platform as the current Civic Si. Also, the regular model will share its 1.5-liter turbocharged four along with its limited-slip differential. However, we’re guessing it’ll make at least 200 hp under the Integra model. The hybrid model will probably be the highlight on the offer, and we’re expecting as well as better fuel economy.
2023 Acura Integra Hybrid: What Can We Expect?
The new 2023 Acura Integra will most likely ride on the same platform found under the Civic Si. However, the hybrid variant will probably use the same one, which should be modified to support a battery and electric motor.
The regular model that was debuted a few days ago wears a new Acura’s handsome grille, LED lighting front and rear, and the embossed “INTEGRA” on the front and rear bumpers. Also, we noticed a roof that gently swoops at the end by a subtle decklid spoiler. Unlike models before, the new one comes with Indy Yellow Pearl paint, making this sedan look sportier.
Interior Details
Despite the complete exterior revamp, the new 2023 Acura Integra Hybrid will probably come with a new interior as well. From many reports, this sedan will most likely offer more amenities than the Civic Si or even the ILX model. So, we’re expecting a very comfortable interior that can fit five passengers, providing very supportive seats.
In terms of technology, the Acura Integra Hybrid will offer a much larger infotainment than the current ILX model. We also expect Apple CarPlay/Android Auto smartphone integration to come standard, as well as the Bluetooth connectivity, and a few USB C ports. The safety department will be much better, and it will include a forward-collision warning with automatic emergency braking, lane-keeping assist, plus adaptive cruise control.
2023 Acura Integra Hybrid Specs
Despite the regular 1.5-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engines, the manufacture will also introduce the 2023 Acura Integra Hybrid version. From what we know, this model will use an electric motor that will be attached to a rear axle, providing all-wheel-drive as standard.
The same drivetrain layout will also power the 11th-gen Civic Type R. Fun fact is that in Japan, the Integra was available with AWD, but it wasn’t available with a hybrid system.
2023 Acura Integra Hybrid Release Date, Price
The new 2023 Acura Integra Hybrid will go on sale probably after the release of the regular model. As far as we can say, the event is set to happen in Los Angeles on November 11, 2021.
We expect the base model to start at $30,000, while the range-topping Hybrid model could cost more than $45,000.
