2023 Acura Integra AWD Model Officially Confirmed

The luxury division of Honda will relaunch an iconic nameplate called 2023 Acura Integra later in the year. Definitely, this car will shake up the entry-luxury compact segment, and it should replace the aging ILX sedan. The new Integra from the information that’s available will share its underpinnings with the upcoming Honda Civic.

It will use an existing turbocharged 1.5-liter four-cylinder engine also powering Civic Si model. However, we’re still hoping that the new model will gain Type S treatment and more high-performance engine. The most exciting news is that the Integra could be offered with either front-wheel drive or optional AWD, which is confirmed by officials recently.

What Will the 2023 Acura Integra Look Like?

As we can see from the first batch of photos, the new 2023 Acura Integra looks clearly modernized, compared to the previous model. It features the latest Acura design language with LED-Shaped signature lighting and with attractive angular “Diamond Pentagon” grille up front. The front and rear bumpers look fresh, and they now get retro “INTEGRA” logos into the plastic.

We also noticed more visible taillights, thanks to new graphics. The Type S model is rumored as well, and we can expect this variant to come with more aggressive body, especially on the front.

Cabin Rumors

The interior of the 2023 Acura Integra AWD model will be sporty and modern for sure. Since this model shares the same platform with the Civic model, we presume it’ll borrow many features from this car as well. Moreover, many believe that it will get the same treatment like the lovely TLX model. That means it could offer plenty of technology and quality materials.

Acura’s True Touchpad Interface might show up as well, connected to a 9.0-inch touchscreen. Other features that we are expecting to be available as well include wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.

  1. Unfortunately, now this has been announced, there is no AWD which is unfortunate for those of us who live on mountains where we get snow. Not useful to have a car you can drive only 9 months of the year.
