According to the latest news, Honda recently filed for the ADX trademark, which suggests that the upcoming Ultium-Based Electric SUV will probably bear it. The new 2023 Acura ADX, from what we heard, will share many components with the recently introduced Acura MDX model, which is the company’s most selling SUV.
Honda signed a partnership agreement with the GM company, so the new SUV will likely share the same platform, powertrain, and battery pack(s) with the other GM EVs. Acura’s upcoming SUV will more than likely continue to wear unique design language and interior decor that reflects the luxury from this brand. As you probably know, the GM company last month introduced its Ultium battery that will be used on almost all upcoming electric vehicles.
2023 Acura ADX Design
The forthcoming electric SUV, the 2023 Acura ADX, will likely share a platform with other GM EVs. According to the manufacturer, the platform will be strong enough to take the company’s latest Ultium battery. In general, we expect the Acura ADX to have a distinct exterior and to use many cues from the MDX model.
As you probably may know, the MDX is the most selling SUV that wears the brand’s latest design language. Likewise, we believe Acura’s electric SUV will share the same body panels, with a similar front end and grille. We’re sure that Acura will reveal more information about the new GM-built electric SUV in the coming weeks or months.
Modern Cabin
On the inside, the all-new 2023 Acura ADX will offer the same modern cabin as the current MDX model. The MDX is a really roomy SUV, providing maximum comfort for all passengers. The entry-level model is one of the most equipment in the class. It’s featuring power front seats, tri-zone automatic climate control, a panoramic sunroof, and an amazing 12.3-inch digital instrument panel, as well as the 12.3-inch infotainment screen. So, expect the new Acura ADX to come with the same package of equipment or even with more.

2023 Acura ADX Electric Setup
From the latest reports, the forthcoming 2023 Acura ADX will use the Ultium battery. As we mentioned, Acura’s parent company, Honda, has recently signed a partnership agreement with the GM company.
GM’s new Ultium batteries are unique, and they range from 50 to 200 kWh. Thanks to that, the upcoming models could estimate range up to 400 miles. On top of that, most of the models will have 400-volt battery packs and up to 200 kW fast-charging capability. However, as far as we know, the truck platform will have 800-volt battery packs and 350 kW fast-charging capability.
2023 Acura ADX Release Date, Price
The new 2023 Acura ADX is an upcoming all-electric SUV that will use GM’s latest Ultium battery. Right now, we don’t know when exactly the sales will start, but it should happen later in the year or early 2023. The price is not yet determined, but many believe it shouldn’t cost more than $50,000.
