Honda has just announced that the new 2021 Honda Freed is coming. According to the manufacturer, the upcoming minivan should be available in Japan in October.

The battery of the hybrid model is under the floor and thanks to that, it shouldn’t cut interior space at all. Besides, the base model is paired with CVT, while optional hybrid works with a 7-speed DCT. Both units come standard with FWD, while AWD can get optionally.

The release date of 2021 Honda Freed will happen this year. According to the company, this model will be firstly available in Japan. From what we heard, the base model could start from 1,997,600 yen, which is ($18,420) for the base six-seater model powered by the 1.5-liter gasoline engine.
