The latest 2021 Honda Accord Sport is the sedan based on the popular Insight model. Both ones share many similar exterior designs. The new version looks even swoopy and sporty than ever, thanks to the revised front grille and excellent shaped LED headlights. On top of that, this model can be customized with wheel sizes from 17 to 19 inches depending on the trim level.
Accord Sport models highlights are definitively this time the new chrome exhaust finishers and decklid spoiler that looks awesome. Besides that, this model will get an improved aerodynamics thanks to grille shutters that are also present on the hybrid model.

2021 Honda Accord Sport Powertrain Options
Under the hood of this famous sedan, there are few engine options. The base model will be powered by a 1.5-liter four-cylinder turbocharged powertrain that produces 192 horses and 192 lb-ft of torque. This engine is available on the trims (LX, Sport, EX, EX-L), and it comes with CVT automatic as standard, with a 6-speed manual offered on the Sport.
The next one that powers models (EX-L, Sport, Touring) is stronger and it consists of a 2.0-liter turbocharged engine. This model makes 252 hp and 273 lb-ft of torque. Unlike the first one, this powertrain will be available with a 10-speed automatic, while Sport trim will feature the same 6-speed manual gearbox.
2021 Honda Accord Hybrid
The latest 2021 Honda Accord will also be available with a hybrid system. This system is available in trims Hybrid, EX, EX-L, and Touring. In terms of design, this model will look identical to the regular one. It offers a standard 2.0-liter 4-cylinder gas engine paired with an electric motor and CVT automatic transmission. Thanks to this system, the hybrid model produces 212 horsepower and an enviable 48-mpg combined rating.
Price and Release Date
The most recommendable trim is the Sport one. This trim starts at $27,460 for the model that deploys 1.5-liter four-cylinder. Prices continue to climb with higher equipment and trims. For example, the EX-L model begins just over $31,000, while the most equipped Touring model with the 2.0-liter turbo engine starts just beyond $37,000.Prices above are in line with models like Toyota Camry and Nissan Altima.
