Honda confirms that it’s bringing back the Civic model with a Hybrid system next year. As far as we know, the forthcoming 2024 Honda Civic Hybrid will only be available in hatchback form. Though it’s confirmed, we don’t have any official details regarding its design or what its interior will be.
However, from what we know, is that the latest version of the Civic Hybrid will likely use the same engine as the Honda Insight. For those who may not know, the current Insight uses an electric motor and a 1.5-liter engine. Thanks to that, it produces 151 hp and comes with CVT as standard. In general, we’re expecting Civic Hybrid to produce at least 180 horses with the same system.
2024 Honda Civic Hybrid Exterior
On the cosmetic front, we don’t expect the 2024 Honda Civic Hybrid to significantly differ from the original one. Considering that the upcoming model is using a hybrid system, we presume that it will ride on a new platform. Honda has yet to release more details about the U.S.-market Civic hybrid, but they did give us an idea of what to expect thanks to the Europe model.
First of all, the design is better, and the hybrid model receives a few aesthetic changes. The front fascia seems more attractive thanks to new headlights and a small grille with a new pattern. The hybrid in Europe also wears new black wheels and better graphics in the taillights.

So, price between $24,000 to $27,000 is more than likely. Honda recently confirmed that the Insight would be discontinued, and they literary confirms that the Civic hybrid is on its way.
