Finally, the new 2023 Honda Element will reportedly arrive next year after so much waiting. It has been over a decade since this SUV was discontinued, and every year we hear many gossips about its comeback. The latest rumors reveals that the Honda Element might arrive next year, featuring a completely different design language.
In general, we expect this model to keep the same unique boxy proportions and to receive some changes mostly on the front and end fascia’s. The Element is a compact SUV that has two-row of seats and enough room to comfortably fit five passengers. However, to keep up with other models in the segment, we expect it to get more quality materials and better technology.
2023 Honda Element Redesign
The new 2023 Honda Element will keep its”rugged charm” and simple look for sure. According to the latest information, the forthcoming SUV will share many design cues with its sibling CR-V and Toyota FT-4X concept. First of all, the manufacturer will modify the front fascia that will include a unique grille and LED headlights.
However, the new SUV will definitively keep the same boxy look with sharper lines. We also expect some new colors and pains like Sunset Orange, Citrus Fire, Cargo Khaki, and Royal Blue Pearl.
Cabin Upgrades
The new 2023 Honda Element will definitively be more friendly than before. Honda will make some improvements in terms of quality to keep up with other models in the class. In general, we expect a complete interior overhaul and many similarities with the upcoming CR-V.
First of all, the updated infotainment system is a must, as well as the larger screen. As you may know, the Honda Element is the only SUV available that is offered with a pet-friendly package. So far, this model was available with a pet bed, ramp, dog-pattern seat covers, all-season floor mats. However, we expect more features to be available on the upcoming model.
2023 Honda Element Engine Specs
Right now, there is no information regarding the engine of the 2023 Honda Element. Considering that this model will share many elements with the upcoming CR-V, many believe it could borrow the same machine. So, the new 2023 Honda Element will replace the aging engine with the 1.5-liter turbocharged 4-cylinder capable of making 190 horsepower and 179 lb-ft of torque.
This engine comes standard with a CVT automatic transmission using the front-wheel drive. We also expect an all-wheel-drive to be introduced for the first time as optional. Besides this engine, there are a couple of rumors about the new PHEV system. The system will use a potent engine that will be coupled with two electric motors and a massive battery capacity, delivering great millage.

The next-generation 2023 Honda Element could make its comeback next year, featuring a completely refreshed look. Right now, the famous Japanese company didn’t confirm any of the claims above.
If this model happens, it will cost slightly more than before. The current model costs around $20,000 for the base model, and it can go up to $30,000 fully loaded.
