2023 Honda Accord Spy Shots, First Look

The new 2023 Honda Accord midsize sedan has been just spied testing, wearing heavy camouflage. The prototype seems refreshed, and it will continue to be offered in six trim levels, including the Accord LX, Sport, Sport Special Edition, EX-L, Sport 2.0T, and Accord Touring. However, changes that Honda made to the Accord’s styling are minor to spot.

Generally, we noticed a wider grille, smaller fog lights, and new attractive LED headlights with better graphics. As before, the upcoming Accord will be powered by the same engines and transmissions.

2023 Honda Accord Redesign

The recently captured 2023 Honda Accord is wearing heavy camouflage. However, we managed to see some changes, and clearly, the upcoming Accord will receive only mild upgrades regarding the exterior.

Some small improvements are mostly visible on the front fascia. The new Accord features a medium-sized Chrome Wing Grille with two chrome-accented transverse horizontal lines. The manufacturer also used 18-inch wheels, making this sedan look premium. Besides, the roofline is now lower, with a slightly longer hood for better aerodynamics.

Interior Upgrades

On the inside of the new 2023 Honda Accord, expect more quality materials and better technology. According to the latest news, the upcoming Accord will get richer standard equipment across the lineup. As we mentioned, this sedan is available in six trim levels, including Accord LX, Sport, Sport Special Edition, EX-L, Sport 2.0T, and Accord Touring.

The entry-level model LX model offers a good set of standard features. It includes dual-zone automatic climate control, an 8-in touchscreen display with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, cloth upholstery, dual USB ports, and a 160-watt/4-speaker sound system. However, choosing a Sport or higher model, the buyers will get 12-way power front seats, leather-wrapped steering wheel, 60/40-split rear seats, 8-speaker/180-watt audio system, and much more. Also standard on all trims is the upgraded Honda Sensing suite of safety and driver-assist features.

2023 Honda Accord Powertrain Specs

Like before, the new 2023 Honda Accord will use the same line of engines. The base sedan deploys a 192-hp turbocharged 1.5-liter four-cylinder engine that is paired to the continuously variable automatic transmission. Going for Sport trim, buyers will get a more powerful 252-hp turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine.

Unlike the base model, this one uses a 10-speed automatic transmission. The manufacturer also offers a hybrid powertrain. This model uses a gas-fed 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine that makes 212 horses and 232 lb-ft of torque with two electric motors. As before, the Hybrid system is available only in base, EX, EX-L, and Touring trim levels
