The all-new hybrid crossover, 2022 Honda HR-V eHEV, has been announced for Europe and U.S markets. On top of that, the manufacturer released a batch of new photos, and the upcoming mid-size model looks very modern. According to the Japanese company, the next-gen HR-V will incorporate a similar hybrid system as we saw in the latest Honda Jazz model.
It uses an Atkinsons 1.5-liter engine acting as a generator and an electric motor as a primary driving force. From the information that we got, the engine is powerful and very efficient. The HR-V e:HEV will go on sale later this year, featuring many improvements compared to its predecessor.

Basically, the HR-V eHEV keeps its spacious rear seat and cargo area with the so-called “magic seats”. The dashboard design is clean, and it hosts a new seven-inch instrument cluster, a nine-inch infotainment system, and some rotary climate control knobs above the center console.
Unlike its predecessor, the HR-V eHEV comes with a new Air Diffusion System mounted in the cabin’s center. It also comes standard with wireless Apple CarPlay, but Android Auto still needs a cable for connecting.
