2021 Honda Accord Coupe – Everything You Need To Know

2021 Honda Accord Coupe is truly a unique vehicle. The upcoming model will offer a redesigned body and a more engaging and visually appealing exterior. The coupe will draw the attention of the different types of customers than the sedan model. So, the company can explore and even risk a bit with this version.

The main advantage relative to the sedan is in the lack of competition. But, when it comes to performance, the differences between these two cars are not so distinct. The coupe offers a more sporty look and bold design language. On the other hand, the sedan is famous for a cleaner, more elegant shape.

2021 Honda Accord Coupe Gets a Sportier Look

The forthcoming 2021 Honda Accord Coupe is one of the most attractive models on the market. This well-built vehicle will deliver more exclusive features, modern design, unique details, and sharp creases. Also, the LED headlights are remodeled as well. The whole front part will go through some minor alterations, to gain a more rugged and aggressive look.

Moreover, the 2021 version comes with a refined and redesigned aluminum body. Although the shape and dimensions are pure of a coupe, you’ll find numerous sportscar-like elements. The front part of the vehicle is built from one solid piece, so the two-slot grille and the headlights appear merged.

Besides, large air-dam is available, and the fog lights are included in the optional package. On the rear side, Accord Coupe retains the previous shape, while the side profile will get some form adjustments.

Interior Design

The cabin of the upcoming 2021 Honda Accord Coupe offers a lot of room for the passengers, the right amount of high-quality materials, and elegant style. Also, the interior is very comfortable, and each passenger will have a generous headroom/legroom area.

But, one thing that will probably bother the customers is the lack of rear doors. As a result, access to the back of the vehicle is a bit of trouble. The seats offer great support, especially the nicely-padded front seats. The Accord Coupe includes Apple CarPlay/Android Auto smartphone connectivity.

Furthermore, the infotainment system provides excellent responsiveness. On top of that, new Accord drivers will enjoy the simplified user interface. Of course, a Honda Sensing bundle of safety features is included for every trim level.

In this safety suite, you’ll find Lane Keep Assist, Adaptive Cruise Control, Departure Warning, and Forward Mitigation. To conclude the cabin review, Accord Coupe brings elegantly designed and spacious cabin, probably one of the best in the segment.

Engine

Under the hood of 2021 Honda Accord Coupe will be two, equally strong engines. The first one is a 2.4-liter 4-cylinder unit that makes 185 hp and 181 lb-ft. The second powertrain is the 3.5-liter V6 engine. The V6 produces 278 hp and 252 lb-ft of torque.

However, this drivetrain will be available only for Accord Coupe Touring and EX-L models. The V6 mill offers a CVT gearbox, while the 2.4-liter powertrain comes connected to a 6-speed manual. The Accord Coupe accelerates from 0-60 mph in 5.62 seconds with the V6 engine.

According to some rumors, the company is planning to develop a hybrid powertrain as well. Still, at the moment, we don’t have official info about this topic.

  1. No 6 speed manual with the V6 engine? Big mistake. I had a 2005 Accord coupe V6 w/6 speed and it was one of the very best cars I’ve ever owned. The style, performance, brakes, handling, MPG and fit (I’m 6’6″) were all fantastic. What a great car and so fun to drive. I wish I had it back.

  3. I had 2 fully loaded Accord V6 coupes. 2 major gripes….brakes & cabin road noise….but I would go back especially if they made a hybrid set-up. Current Accord hybrids are faster and much more efficient mpg & would satisfy near future regulations. Honda…PRODUCE IT!! Add better insulation to muffle tire & road noise too!!!!!!
