Over the years, the Cider becomes one of the main models for the ever-growing Asian market. In the beginning, Crider was designed to fill the gap between the Civic and Accord. But now, with the announced release of 2020 Honda Crider, we think it’s gonna be more important than just a filler. At first glance, you can notice the well-know design cues of Honda’s compact sedans.

The overall exterior styling is more aggressive and visually more ready to compete, than the previous version. Moreover, the dimensions of the new model will be a little bit larger as well. That means more room in the cabin for sure. New LED highlights are added, as well as the front lights, which are more prominent and fit better with the overall look of the vehicle.

Furthermore, the grille will go through a minor shape altering and visual tunning. With a new, modern look, the grille helps to establish a more dominant stance on the street, and the vehicle will get a recognizable image.

Inside the cabin of the upcoming 2020 Honda Cider, you’ll find a good amount of high-materials. You may ask yourself, where did I see this layout already? Well, if you are familiar with the Accord lineup, you’re on a good trail. The new Cider will borrow a couple of things from the luxurious four-door sibling.

So, expect the large cargo area, with the 60/40-split option, to gain even more comfort. Of course, the focal point of the dashboard surely will be an 8-inch infotainment screen. The display comes with a swipe, zoom, and even the pinch function, and colorful tiles in the middle. Moreover, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity are finally available through all trim levels of the new Cider.

Furthermore, the headroom is outstanding, and the user interface is very intuitive and easy to use. The rear seats offer good amount of space as well, and they can be upgraded with seat heaters. The legroom is exceptionally good as well. The Honda Sensing suite is available and comes with auto-high beam, adaptive cruise control, etc.

Under the hood of upcoming 2020 Honda Cider will be a very potent unit. It is a familiar 1.8-liter naturally aspired petrol engine. This unit can develop 139 hp with 126 lb-ft of torque. The standard transmission will be a 5-speed manual.

However, there’s opt for the CVT gearbox as well. The famous Japanese company announced that they will add the 2.0-liter powertrain to the Crider mode shortly after the new model makes debut in China.
