If you like the Honda CR-V, and looking for something similar, then the new 2022 Honda Breeze is the right option for you. Unfortunately, this SUV is only available in China, where it’s very popular. More dynamic-looking model is going to receive some exterior updates for the following year as the same dashboard design that we saw on the latest CR-V.
The Breeze SUV also includes Honda Sensing and Honda Connect 2.0 tech, while features such as wireless charging and hands-free tailgate are available as well as standard. If that is not enough for you, the black edition is offering many blacked-out exterior and interior details.
2022 Honda Breeze Design
The exterior styling of the new 2022 Honda Breeze is much more attractive than the CR-V. Basically, this model shines, and it features many upgrades over its sibling. Also, dimensionally is a few inches larger, measuring 4,634 mm (182.4 inches) x 1,855 mm (73 inches) x 1,679 mm (66.1 inches), with a wheelbase of 2,661 mm or (104.7 inches).
Perhaps the most noticeable changes over the CR-V are visible on the front fascia, which is more lifted than the Vezel model. Meanwhile, both the headlights and LED taillights are L-shaped, featuring a considerably sharper design than we saw on the CR-V. More Modern Interior
Inside, the forthcoming 2022 Honda Breeze features a roomy cabin for five occupants and the same dashboard design as the CR-V. Moreover, as we mentioned, the Breeze is actually a little bit longer than its sibling, resulting in a more comfortable interior.
The entry-level model includes single-zone automatic climate control, rearview camera, 6-way manual-adjust driver’s seat, 5-inch color screen, 4-speaker/160-watt audio system, and Bluetooth wireless connectivity. Like the Honda CR-V, the Chinese version comes with Honda Sensing and Honda Connect 2.0. However, dual-zone climate control, moonroof, push-button start, heated front seats, and more extensive 7-inch-display audio/infotainment system with Apple CarPlay/Android Auto comes standard on upper trims.
2022 Honda Breeze Engine Specs
Under the hood, the latest 2022 Honda Breeze is the SUV that will be offered with two powertrain options. The standard model uses a 1.5-liter turbocharged gasoline unit mated to a CVT transmission. This engine can deliver 193 HP and 243Nm (179 lb-ft) of torque.
However, Honda also offers an optional powertrain that is much stronger. This engine consists of a 2.0-liter i-MMD hybrid setup, producing 215 HP and 315Nm (232 lb-ft). Like the standard model, the hybrid one is available with eider the 2WD or AWD. Overall, expect a much better economy choosing the hybrid one.

The fresh new 2022 Honda Breeze is an excellent backup alternative for the CH-R model. This model looks more attractive, providing the same dose of luxury inside. The cabin is stylish and offers plenty of room for five passengers. However, as we mentioned, this model is exclusively made for China market.
The entry-level Honda Breeze will cost upwards of 180,000 CNY, which is currently around $25,360. Compared to the other models, the Breeze is less expensive than the Hyundai Santa Fe and Toyota RAV4.
