2023 Honda Ridgeline Release Date, Changes, Specs

The new 2023 Honda Ridgeline is about to arrive with a more attractive look and a comfortable cabin. As you may know, this popular truck received a significant update last year, featuring a squarer and more truck-like exterior. For 2023, the manufacturer will reportedly introduce some mid-cycle upgrades that should make this truck even more eye-catchy and recognized.

Unlike all of its rivals, the new Ridgeline uses a unit-body design, the same structure that can be found in the Honda Pilot SUV. This is a big step up, and the Honda Ridgeline is ready to compete with smaller trucks like the Toyota Tacoma, Ford Ranger, Nissan Frontier, and Chevrolet Colorado. Besides exterior upgrades, we’re also expecting an improved infotainment system, as well as small cosmetic updates inside.

2023 Honda Ridgeline Facelift

The design of the Honda Ridgeline is still fresh, but the new 2023YM will bring some revisions mostly on the front and rear end. That’s a good thing because the Ridgeline still looks more like a traditional pickup. Helping the Ridgeline to stand up from its predecessor, the manufacturer will add more attractive grille, headlights and more muscular 18-inch wheels.

The Honda Performance Development Package (HPD) is expected as well, and it will include fender flares, sport grille and bronze-colored wheels.

Interior Details

The attractive cabin of the 2023 Honda Ridgeline will mostly remain the same. For 2023, as far as we know, the manufacturer will only add more supportive seats, updated infotainment, and it will use more premium materials. Moreover, the 8-inch infotainment screen will clearly come with better graphics, and it should continue supporting Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.

The Sport, RTL, and RTL-E are upper trims, and they come with special accents on their dash, steering wheel, and center console. More significant is the top Honda Ridgeline Black Edition. This model brings a black leather interior, red ambient LED interior lighting, and a heated leather-wrapped steering wheel.

2023 Honda Ridgeline Engine Specs

At this moment, there is no official news regarding the engine of the new 2023 Honda Ridgeline truck. Honda will probably continue to offer the same single powertrain.

The current Ridgeline uses a 3.5-liter V6 engine, routing power through a nine-speed automatic transmission with shift paddles. Of course, an all-wheel drive should be standard. This engine is capable of producing 280 horsepower with 262 lb.-ft of torque.

How Much Will Cost the 2023 Honda Ridgeline?

As before, the 2023 Honda Ridgeline will probably be in the same pricing range. The Sport model, which comes standard with AWD, starts at $36,890. However, a better-equipped RTL begins at $39,870, while the RTL-E starts at $42,820. The top on the offer, the Black Edition, starts at $44,320. In the same class are the Toyota Tacoma, Ford Ranger, and Chevrolet Colorado.

Interestingly, all mentioned rivals start at less than $30,000. Generally speaking, the Honda Ridgeline is a truck with great value for money, and it has a much narrower price range than do pickups from Chevrolet, Ford or Ram. We expect this model to be available for purchase at the beginning of 2023.
