The attractive Honda Ridgeline pickup truck will finally get the treatment that it deserves. This pickup truck is very sturdy, and from the latest news, it should get an electric variant for the following year. On top of that, the 2023 Honda Ridgeline EV renderings are available, and it looks utterly different than the outgoing model.
First of all, the design language of the old Honda Ridgeline is literally gone, and the new one is present. However, considering that this model is rendered by some graphic designer Rene Garcia on Instagram, there is little chance that the manufacturer will actually put this model into an assembly line. Besides, we got some information about the forthcoming truck, and we will be glad to share it.
2023 Honda Ridgeline EV Renderings
After the rumors about the new 2023 Honda Ridgeline EV, the first renderings came out. At first glance, we didn’t notice any similarities with the current Honda Ridgeline. However, we absolutely love the futuristic look of this truck much more. Generally speaking, Honda should consider making such a vehicle. There are already plenty of electric trucks waiting to be launched for this year, and we would be thrilled to see how Honda will keep up.
However, as for the renderings, the truck looks attractive, and its front fascia somehow reminds as of the Lamborghini model. Interestingly, the usable bed where you can carry an ATV looks similar to the Tesla Cybertruck.
On the inside, also expect a completely new modern design styling. The Japanese manufacturer Honda is one of the rare that is listening to its customer’s demands. By the way, expect a very sturdy cabin with plenty of advanced techs and the same seating layout as before.
The Honda Ridgeline is a pickup truck that can fit five passengers with decent legroom and headroom. The current model comes standard with a much longer list of standard equipment than the predecessor. However, for the 2023 year model, expect much more equipment and the new infotainment system, as well.
2023 Honda Ridgeline EV Rumors
The futuristic 2023 Honda Ridgeline EV will most than likely use a completely new system. From the information that we got, the manufacturer might introduce three engine options. The entry-level model could use one electric motor with rear-wheel drive, providing at least 200 miles on a single charge. Interestingly, like Tesla’s Cybertruck, it might have the ability to tow 7,500 pounds.
The next one could be offered with two electric motors, an all-wheel-drive system, and a much bigger battery. This whole system should provide at least a 250-mile range and 10,000-pound towing capacity. The last one and the most powerful might use a three electric motors providing a 450-mile range and 14,000-pound towing capacity. Generally, if the rumors turn out to be true, these are seriously impressive abilities.
Release Date, Price
At this point, there is no official confirmation of the 2023 Honda Ridgeline EV. However, many believe that this truck will happen in the near future.
As we mentioned, the Honda Ridgeline EV is rendered, and it looks completely different from the current generation. Honestly, we like the new design, and if somehow renderings become a reality, this model will achieve great sales figures.
